Judith's Story
I was married in December of 2009 after being widowed in 2000. I am the mother of 8 and stepmother of one. One of my children is deceased, and the others range in age from 39 to 13 (my stepdaughter). I have 12 grandchildren.
Over the years, I have worked in banking and restaurant and retail management. I am currently working full-time for a title company and part-time in my church office. I am a cancer survivor of 2+ years. The surgery was a snap compared to the 6 months of chemo. Please...if you're 50 or over and have not yet done so, have a colonoscopy. I would not wish on anyone what I had to endure. God has been good to me. It could have been a lot worse. My kids have been hit hard by this because they lost their father to cancer in 2000, but they remain strong and confident of my cure and recovery.
I am active in my church...I work there part-time as the assistant church secretary, sing in 2 choirs, and minister with the Praise Dance Team.
