Judith's Story
Presently I teach nursing part time at Azusa Pacific University after retiring as Coordinator of Health Services for the School District where I grew up. That is a fancy name for, I was the only nurse for the whole district. I also serve on two board of director, one as president and the other as secretary, both with a focus on children and young people, helping to make their world better. This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to my community.
My highlight in life is my family. My son and three daughters have presented me with 4 grandsons and 6 grand-daughters. (See photo albums), They are a real joy.
My husband and I find life very happy. He says I should receive some sort of reward for my contribution to the animal kingdom. 12 ...Expand for more
California Desert tortoise and 2 large red eared slider turtles who have their own pond. It is like a built in hobby.
The key in my life is spiritual. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path."
2022 Highlights: will be running my 7th half LA Marathon (and 15th half marathon in 6.5 years) and 6th world wide 6K for water, I run with Team World Vision to bring clean water to the children in Africa. One in five African children die before age 5 due to unclean water.
