Life
Currently living in Las Vegas Nevada for the past 6 years. Planning on moving back to Southern California within a few months maintaining residence in LV. Previously lived in Newport Coast California for 26 years. Married to Alan Mintz (class of 67) I have two children, Jared 35 years old, (UNLV 1999 Hotel/Mgmnt & Adm.) currently Assistant Director of Sales and Marketing at The Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Las Vegas. He married in 2005 to Chani Siegel from Huntington Bch. CA they have two little girls Samantha 7 and Emily 3. My daughter, Jennifer, 33 years old, (SDSU 2005 Public Admin) Married Matthew Finkel (SDSU 2005) Lives in Aliso Viejo, California with Mackenzie 4 years old and a baby girl on the way in two weeks. Still married to my best friend, Alan Mintz CHHS 1967 and have been married 43 years. He is an entrepreneur, currently President and CEO of a 230 car executive limousine service in Las Vegas named AWGAmbassador . He was CEO of Buckeye Ventures, and still involved in Mergers & Acquisitions in the HVAC industry, He is also involved in the Entertainment industry. as an Associate Producer of TriStar's movie "Rudy". I, was a 1972 graduate from OSU in the education field. At the time of graduation there were no teaching opportunities. I became involved in the jewelry business. Worked in high end watch industry and diamond markets. Mostly doing private shopper work at this time. Worked at David Yurman in Las Vegas. I travel a lot with Alan around the country when he has business. Love traveling and seeing new places
I have a wonderful English Cocker Spaniel dog named Duke and just lost Pepper Mintz our 17 year old Schnauzer. The heartbreak is horrible over a pet you have loved and been part of our family for so long. We love traveling back to Cleveland to visit our old friends many of whom we still communicate with regularly. Alan from his 1967 class and me who is still friends with our high school group Jill Sandler, Karen Jacob, Karen Fogel, Andi Davis, Sheryl Cohen, and Michal (aka Michelle) Weinstein (who just moved to Israel)
Life as we get older gets harder not easier for me, managing all the nuances of day to day. I exercise regularly and try to keep a positive attitude though sometimes that is hard to do with the loss of hearing so severe. Have attended each reunion over the years and hope to attend more.
