Judith's Story
Gosh, fifty years and how fast it has gone. I spent many years living and raising my children and later working across Nebraska. I was managing several departments in Miller and Paine in Lincoln until 1988. I moved to North Idaho after Miller and Paine sold to Dillards Department Stores. I took a few Months off and then went back into retail and running a couple of stores in the Coeur d'Alene Idaho and then in Sandpoint Idaho. After leaving that employment I worked for the next ten years at Coldwater Creek's corporate offices in Sandpoint Idaho as an Associate Technical Designer until my retirement in 2009. I had decided several years before that I would retire in Lincoln so had my son travel to Idaho and move me back to Lincoln. I've been back for almost two years and have no regrets and I'm enjoying seeing my children after 22 years in Idaho.

o children, a boy and a girl. The marriage ended in divorce fifteen years later. My children both received degrees, one becoming an Art Director and the Other working in several fields over the years.. Just an update: I lost my son in Oct. of 2017 and living with my daughter and her husband in Lincoln.
I've spent several years in the mountains of North Idaho, skiing, snowshoeing and skiing hiking and fishing in almost every lake in the North.
I now have two artificial knees but can still do almost everything I did before they were replaced.. as of 2018 I now have two artificial hips also but still doing well.
I still work for fun at Walmart for the past nine years, but not as a door greeter, lol, how boring. I'm a Sales Associate and work everywhere. I'm thankful that I can still work and I'm helping my children re-model their home, one room at a time.and now putting in an apt for myself
