Judith's Story
I just did this according to the prompts that came up....so forgive the disjontedness.....
I always wanted to be a journalist when I grew up. Sister Georgia was my fav teacher. My family thought that was a bad idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. I still wish I had done it.
I don't ususally blow off steam...rarely I might go ballistic and let it all out while sobbing.
My favorite way to relax is to read a book. I still love to go to the beach..usually Key West...take a chair and just read in solitude while sitting under a palm tree with my bottle of water. Lots of sunscreen
My hero and mentor as a young girl was my dear uncle rudy.....a psychologist who provided me with amazing insignts and supported all my decisions in spite of myself. And he was there to help me when things did not turn out for the best.
I will never forget playing dolls with Kay Callahan and Betty Baum under Kay's back porch. It was cool and sandy.
My first job was at Anniston Memorial Hospital, where I got paid $3.25 to be a R.N.. What I remember most about it is Segregation. The black patients would not ...Expand for more
tell me how they were really feeling...even if they were in pain.
I share my home with my husband.
My style is Traditional, conservative but colorful.
My best friend would tell you I'm sensitive, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as somewhat aloof.
I am now retired and looking for my 3rd career.
My current age is 75...No Heath problems.. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be bent over. I was so completely wrong.
fun...
If I won $100 million,I would spend it on myself, my husband and my children and my family.
Children cause a lot of heartache. But grand children are wonderful!
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel all of it and add on a room of my own. My dream home would be in a different place.
I love classical music and 50-60s folk and 50-60s favorite. Remember the dances at St John's in WHiting?
There are several schoolmates I am interested in knowing about at this age; however, it seems membership is sparse and those who are members say very little about their lives.
