Judith's Story
Life
Beyond my involvement in strong family and friendship ties, music, reading, creative writing, and calligraphy have always been constants in my life. Genealogy, photography, and travel are also some of my interests. In the past 15-20 years, the environment has been a genuine concern of mine, and my front door is plastered with the names organizations devoted to this cause.
I am interested in books written by James Joyce, I.B. Singer, E.A.Poe, Shakespeare, Richard Wright; about the Holocaust, American history(people and places equally),Irish, Jewish and Afro-Americans, immigr...Expand for more
ants and their lives before and after Ellis Island, among other subjects.
My tastes in music are primarily folk, bluegrass, Celtic, jazz and klezmer, opera and classical but I include other types as well. I still play the piano, as I have since 1st grade, and have even jammed with other musicians and played publicly. I take care of my houseplants, and have called myself, alternately, the Plant Lady of Douglaston as well as the Plant Killer of Douglaston.
I guess, basically, that my bio would be, Love, Laugh, Give, Learn, and always try to Grow to become a healthier person.
