Judy's Story
I married Bill Wood the week I graduated. He was in the air force stationed in Albuquerque NM.. We lived there several months and then transferred to Rapid City SD. Our daughter Sheila was born there in 1952. After he was discharged from the AF we moved back to Dalton and he started college at Mercer University in Macon and graduated
in 1958. Our son Ken was born in Sept. of 1958.Bill was a High School teacher and golf coach for several years.
He also coached Tennis while teaching...Expand for more
a Berry a Boys HS near Rome. Bill later got cancer, Multi Myeloma which there was no cure at that time. He lived 2 1/2 years after having chemo and other treatments for this and passed away in March of 2004 WE were married almost 53 years.. I am now living in Carrollton, GA near my daughter. She was married to Alan Reed and has one son Grant. Alan passed away with a massive heart attack when Grant was in college.
