Judy's Story

Well, it's time to update again..........I totally retired in February 2016. Wasn't sure I'd be a good retired person since I had such a fascinating job with great co-workers....but, I am really enjoying it.and finding things to do every day. Never boring!. Dan's been retired since 2010 and always stays busy. We've bought three new properties since retiring so there is always something that needs to be done.
My mom, who began living with us in 2010 passed away in December 2014. So blessed that we were able to spend her last years together. Dan's parents are still living in Eureka on their Old Arcata Road property.

years ago and has a son, Case, who will be two in January 2017. His daughter Morgan is 15 and a sweetheart. She's smart, kind and artistic. His son, Ethan, is 18 and graduated from high school in 2016. He doesn't quite know what his path as an adult is going to be yet. He's working part time in sales and living at home with his mom. We are blessed that all live within 35 miles. We get together with Chris, and Katie, the grandkids and Katie's parents often.
Recently connected with a few high school friends on Facebook. Kind of fun to find out where they went after high school and what they're doing now.
