Judy's Story
Life
After graduation from Lane I went to Duke University, married Jim Brunger moved to Michigan then to Va Beach. We have 2 wonderful children--Jennifer-grad of UofGa,lives and works in Seattle, Wa and Jamie,grad of UofVermont,lives and works in Boston, Ma. After completing a Masters degree from Catholic U in DC, I worked in the DC area. I have been involved in management of Hospice organizations for 15 years. After living 10 years in Savannah, Georgia and walking the beach daily, I moved this summer (2003) to Raleigh, North Carolina, to take a position as head of an Assoication of hospices in both NC and SC. p lots of longtime friends at my age is a challenge but I am loving it. Jim and I divorced 14 years ago. I don't get back to Charlottesville--my Mom died 13 years ago and my ties there are few. My brother Lindsay lives in Virginia Beach and all of our families get together as regularly as one can living so spread out. Our families recently got together in Las Vegas for Christmas--Lindsay and his wife are going to be grandparents in 2004. My daughter is planning to move East after 8 years in Seattle this coming year. I loved my time at Lane and would love to hear from any of you--the older I get the more important family, friends and memories get!!!
