Judy's Story
Never would I have dreamed I would retire to Fort White Florida the place of awesome childhood memories. I remember coming to Fort White as a little girl in the winter and having to wear a bunch of clothes to stay warm. My Aunt Rose and Uncle Morris had a camp at Three Rivers all those years ago and we came each year at hunting season and often in the summer.
I remember the water being cold and crystal clear and watching Aunt Rose catch the fish standing in the water. I still can recall the taste of the water from the water bucket dipper.. We even had to pump water from the well. I miss those days it was so simple and so much calmer.
I had cousins who lived in Ft White and ya know I envied them cause they had adventure.
Adventure is what my life has been and I came back to places I had memories of as a child. I even lived in Crystal River for a while and it was a special place with awesome memories.
As I think of my life and the things and places I have been I am actually amazed. I wasn't popular in school because of anything strange I just was visually impaired. I can say now it did keep me closer to fimilar things and as I got older and braver I began to push for more independence.. I graduated with all of the class of 1978 walking with my class was a...Expand for more
wesome. I also married and worked various places had 2 sons and moved about Florida and Texas then after a divorce I went to Arizona..
I began to fly and travel alone and to learn I was a very capable woman and life was mine and I had the right to be happy..
Funny thing was I love flying, yet I was almost 40 when I took a chance and flew. Who would have known that flight changed my life forever.
Things happened life changed and opps I fell in love and married again. This time 1880's style in Tombstone AZ....
As the time passed we made plans to retire in Florida and we also began a awesome connection with Bennet Wallaby. Mike and I raise the Rotties but soon decided careless owners hurt our hearts and adopted a wallaby. Something about the eyes of such a awesome creature and the total trust they have for you as momma..
Today we have an Adult male wallaby who is albino but a awesome pet and a liitle buddy.. We soon will add a little lady to the mix and Sunny our boy will have a mate.
Loving a Wallaby was my big suprise! A Wallaby Ranch a place of peace and comfort to call home. The ability to share my knowledge and the love of all living things with others. The most simple thing of all I finally realize I see more with my heart than those with 20/20 vision.
