Judy's Story
Life
I have been married over 25 years to my husband Jim. We met on a blind date and were married within a year. We have 2 wonderful kids ages 24 and 23. Eric served 15 months in Germany with the Army National Guard. He has since finished college graduating from Kansas University December 2009 and Kristen graduated May 2009 from James Madison Univ. She attended Louisiana State Univ. for 1 semester but the hurricanes were a little unsettling to say the least. She changed her major from Interior Design to Business Managment to Economics. Both of them were Econ majors. I don't know why they love economics so much...I HATED it!
I work full time, volunteer on various committees at my church and completed a 3 year term on the local school board. Serving on the school board has been on of the greatest life experiences. You can't learn this stuff in college. It's amazing to work with a 60+ million dollar budget!
I recently completed a new work assignment that had me flying to Cincinnati every Monday morning for more than a year. My company is implemented a new ERP software system. It was a great project, but I'm glad to be home.

member that I was in the class of 1976. I was shy, a nerd (4.0 GPA), and terrified of life. Wouldn't even pick up the phone to order a pizza for delivery because I thought they might yell at me!
I am happy to say much has changed in the last 30 years. I would like to think I have gotten better with age!
College
I started at Flo Valley and almost finished my degree at Maryville University before moving from Missouri to New Jersey. I was taking one class at a time due to work and family.
It took me 26 long years to finally get my undergrad. I completed my business degree at Seton Hall University. Great Business school and great basketball! I was fortunate enough to see many of their games in Continental Arena with my son.
Workplace
From McDonald's to AT&T, Lucent (and all their other identities) I ended up in NJ. After 18 years the consumer products division of Lucent was purchased and moved to VTech in Oregon. I now work for a Swiss owned Fragrance Manufacturer - Givaudan Fragrances. Never knew such an industry existed, but it is quite exciting. I am often at our NYC office at 57th and 6th Ave. just down the street from Carnegie Hall and Central Park.
