Judy's Story
Life
Hi Haldane classmates,
I went to Plattsburgh and New Paltz
to become a history teacher (hey,Fess)
and then taught in Wappingers Falls for
4 years and Lakeland H.S. for 26 more.
Took early retirement so I could move
to TN with my husband (Bob Darcy from
Beacon, who I married very late in life),but he died before we could get
there. Then, thru Bobbette Smith (Priscilla's older sister) I met
and married Bob Walker in Franklin, NC.
Unfortunately, that didn't work out,
and now that the divorce is final, I'm back to "Judy Darcy." I boogie up and down the
East coast now: NY (Cold Spring) in
summer; FL (Venice) in winter; and
NC in between. Traveled to interesting
places when I was younger(India, Japan,
Turkey,)and hope to do that kind of
traveling again someday. I try to keep in touch...Expand for more
with everyone as much as possible: Teresa, Joy, Jan, Ron (when I go S), Lin, Tom, and of course the gang still left in CS . Recently got together with Carol Snee and Carole Christie. We had a pretty great bunch of people in our class, didn't we?
Carol Snee and I just found out that we are seventh cousins, 9th great-grand-
daughters of the Montauk chief, Wyandanch. (Ms. Rathjen always did
say we were a couple of wild Indians.)
Isn't that a hoot?
In March, 2002 several of us got together and cruised in the Caribbean. (Ms. Maasdam, 3/10 - 3/17) We
called ourselves the "Kindergarten
Krew": Ronny and Diane Graner; Teresa
(Immorlica) and Pete Hardin; Sandy
(Fleming) and Jackie Falloon; Carol
(Snee)and Joe Mazzo, and me. We
had a great time and wish the rest of
you had been there too!
