Judy's Story
Life
I attended Grand Island High School my Sophomore year before moving to CA. I graduated from Fresno High School in 1958. I return to GI occasionally and try to look up old friends. I would like to hear from the many friends I have not been able to see during my visits.
After retiring and selling my home of 33 years in Visalia CA., I have been fulltime RVing for 9 years and loving every minute of it. I travel in a 36ft diesel pusher motorhome. I spend part of the winters in the Palm Springs area of CA. I enjoy the traveling and have visited every state but four, excluding Alaska and Hawaii. There are so many places to visit in this wonderful country of ours. I feel so blessed to be able to have the whole USA as my backyard. Update--We stopped full-timing in Sept 2007 and live year round in Indio, CA in our new park model and love it.
I retired from a career as a Registered Nurse. I have two adult sons and three grandchildren. I have good health, many friends and am "Living the Good Life." I try ...Expand for more
to play as much golf as I have time for and I really enjoy it.
I would love to hear from any of my classmates. Please feel free to email me.

Workplace
I started my career at Kaweah Delta as a nurse aide while attending COS's RN program. I graduated Dec 1971, having graduated from the first class of the RN Program. I started working as an RN in ICU Feb 1972. I also worked on 3North, was Patient Care Manager on 3South before becoming Admissions Coordinator for several years. I spent 24 years of my 25 years as an RN at Kaweah Delta and enjoyed most of those years.
I am enjoying retirement very much. My friend Cec and I have been fulltime RVing for 7 years in a 36 foot diesel pusher motorhome after selling my home of 33 years in Visalia and love the traveling. We spend part of our winters in the Palm Desert,CA. area, as we enjoy the warm weather of the desert. I do miss my many friends at Kaweah Delta but can't say enough for retirement.
I would love to hear from any of my hospital friends.
