Judy's Story
After graduating,I went to phoenix college for only one semester..then went to work, got married and had 2 beautiful children. Now, I'm divorced after 27 yrs of marriage. I work for the superior courts in probation for 30 yrs now. I have 7 beautiful grandchildren. Still working and hope to be retiring in 2 yrs.
Well two years have past now, and i am finally retiring this year. My last day with the county will be 11/29/2011. A long 35 years with probation, and 43 with the county. Looking forward to retiring and enjoying life. Lots of projects to do!!!
Update...I am happily retired!!!! Have been enjoying just doing whatever my heart desires. Taking one day at a time. Loving not having to deal with the stress that comes with working at a job. enjoying taking care of my grandchildren when needed. I have two projects going on at home...doing som...Expand for more
e painting and taking out carpets at home. doing some flower potting as well. Now as the weather warms up, I can now continue to do my walking exercise. Love the warm weather here in Phoenix.
Tramatic event has occurred since my last update. My handsome son was killed in an auto accident on April 6, 2012. I had him for 38 wonderful years here with us. God decided to take him and on all days, one of the most glorious days of the year, Good Friday. Words cannot express the sadness in my heart. I never would have thought I would out live any of my children. But my faith in God keeps me going. He is now in the Lord's house but I still miss him so very much. I am still retired and now I take it day to day. I still have my beautiful daughter and 7 grandchildren, four of which are from my son. He will always live in my heart and through his children.
