Auburn High School (MA) in 1973. I attended UMass, Amherst for 2 years then transfered to Oregon State University where I graduated in 1977. In the meantime, I met my husband, Dan Boire, and we got married in June, 1976. After he graduated from OSU in 1978, we moved to Baltmore, Maryland where I started teaching physical education and he worked for Westinghouse. We had our first 3 sons while living in Ferndale, Maryland. Jason was born in 1980, Jeremy in 1983, and Tim in 1985. or 7 years. In 1986, we moved to Nashua, NH where Dan took a job with Sanders. We had our 4th son, Nathan, in 1987 and our daughter, Nicole was born on Valentines' Day, 1991. I spent most of my energies raising the kids and volunteering at Bicentennial Elementary School and Amherst Swim Club during these early years in Nashua before getting back to coacing track at Nashua Catholic Junior High in 1994. I went back to teaching physical education in 1997 when I took a positon at Presentation of Mary Academy, a small Catholic, k-8th grade school. During my 11 year there, I served as athletic director, pe teacher, and coach. Last year I decided to make a move to the public school system and took a physical education teaching job at Sunset Heights Elementary, a k-5th grade school in Nashua. After 2 years at Sunset Heights, I got placed in another neighborhood school called New Searles where I am presently teacing.".
