Judy's Story
Hi everyone. I now live in Portage, Michigan. It is located in southwest Michigan next to Kalamazoo (yes there really is a Kalamazoo). I have been here for about 22 yrs and love it. I was married for 19 yrs. before my husband passed away 7 yrs ago. We have 1 beautiful daughter named Sherra who is married and lives in Jonesboro, Arkansas with my grandaughter who is 8 yrs. old. It is the greatest thing to have grandchildren. I have been a Pharmacy Technician for about 21 yrs now even tho I am currently unemployed thanks to the economy. ngs to do is to hang out with good friends and bbq and just play cards or games. Here in Michigan we have unlimited access to lakes and I love the water. Whether it be boating, tubing, jet skiing I am game for it. Makes it good that where I live i am surrounded by lakes of all differnt sizes. As for the snow I really dont mind it too much except when winter lasts too long. I really dont miss California too much as I have made some fantastic friends here and this was a great environment to raise my daughter. Who knows maybe someday I will return for a visit.
