Judy's Story
UPDATED Feb.26, 2013 After High School I was a stay-at-home Mom then returned to school to get my RN degree. My marriage ended after 21 years. Both of my kids are married to amazing people who they love & are loved in return..A Mother's dream, I can now die in peace! I have 3 grandchildren, who have grown-up way too quickly. Seems like just yesterday they were toddlers and now they're taller than me and they're always available to answer Grandma's computer problem questions :)) OK, back to me. I worked at St. Joe's in Milwaukee for 33 years and FINALLY retired in Nov. 2012!! My interests include but not limited to.....Travel- Have been to Ireland twice. Searched many a pub looking for distant kin. Pub after pub. Night after night. Other favorite cities -Vegas, Savannah,GA and Jacksonville, FL.Went to London in '12 with daughter Tracy- a Wonderful Mother/Daughter getaway I'll always remember!! ted having Packer parties on Sundays in the 60's, so I've been a fan from bad times thru good. Do not even think about calling during a game, I don't answer. Also, I try to get to a few Brewer games per season, enjoy the NCAA Sweet Sixteen thru the Championship game and still don't understand or like soccer & hockey. Spare Time- love reading (novels & thrillers), movies, local history (old homes&cemeteries, geneology) dining out with friends, walking in parks or along the river for exercise, Irishfest, baking. I am very close to my sibs, 1 sister & 3 brothers, who are scattered from Appleton to the Philippines. My family & friends are such an important part of my life- I feel so blessed to have them!! Politically, I'm an Independent but lean towards the left. I consider myself a Spiritual person, not necessarily religious. Last but not least, my faithful, crazy, furry companion of 15 years..Daisy The Wonder Cat. So, to sum it up I am a very happy & healthy person who loves the life I am living!
