How does one write a life bio? Born in Chicago, raised in St. Louis, graduated from the best school in the World, Normandy, had too many wonderful experiences to tell and probably as many difficult ones, but have survived all so far. Have bunches of kids, with mine and his, and 18 grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren. Returned to Missouri about 10 years ago, and keep very busy with my Class and the reunions, Vice Pres of the Alumni Assn, Founder of "Mark's Place" HIV/AIDS education and support group and secretary of my DAR Chapter . Live in a beautiful community of 16 lakes and rolling hills and head the committe that takes care of the pool activities in the summer. Best of all, I do genealogy and love every second of it.... Other than than, don't do
much except help friends find friends and of course look fo...Expand for more
rward to visits from my children and take care of "Chuck" and our cat and dog..... Wonder what happen to the quiet days of retirement?
My oh my, how life can change even at this age....Left Missouri last year (2005) and moved to Florida and loving it. This is the third time in my life I have lived here, but circumstances change and this time, think I will stay.... Am now the President of the Alumni Association for Normandy High School and thrilled to watch progress of its growth and the wonderful things that are happening at the school....as well as seeing more become members and supporting us. Still travel to St. Louis for meetings and to see friends, it will always be HOME for me. Life is good and fun right now, just got a RED scooter for Mother's Day. I know, I should have bought one when I was younger, but better late than never.
