Judy's Story

Life Cats are my favorite pets, although I love German Shepards. I currently have three cats: Sarg, Corporal and Private Pepper. My new home will be ready and built for move-in this coming March. I plan to get myself a German Shepard puppy. I am currently writing poetry and working on my first book. Hope to have publication next year. Since I am in a leadership position, I travel across the country training in leadership and presenting seminars on leadership and How Money Works. I would say that team building is the best part of my career. I enjoy coaching and mentoring individuals on leadership. I hope to open my first office by mid next year and three additional offices across the country thereafter. My son and daughter have expressed an interest to return to the martial arts arena and therefore I am finishing the business and marketing plans and looking for a good location to open the karate school. The grandchildren will be the first students and that really excites me! I will add more to this as time permits! Judy:) School My biggest crush was Larry Roberts. He broke my heart! I don't think I would do it again, I am quite happy with my life and all the blessings I experience. My craziest school memories are all the fun us girls had in high school. Bad girls, ditching class and my silly brother and sister always figuring out where I was. I was usually with Anna, Marie, or Vicky. We had great times together! The football games were also so much fun. College I graduated from DeVry...Expand for more
University with a bachelors degree in Information Systems. My MBA is in Entrepreneurship and small business ownership from Keller Graduate School of Management. Although I did not take high school very seriously, I certainly made up for it in college. I am currently considering a PhD. Workplace My chidren and I taught karate for over 20 years. It was an amazing time and we never felt like we were working. We are currently in negotiations to start teaching agiain. Martial arts has taught us many great things including attitute, skill and knowledge. Over the 20 years I promoted many young aspiring students to black belt and watched them travel across the country and compete in the international arena. Over the years I did everything from working as a waitress, secretary, factory worker, "girl friday," administrative assistant, and so much more that I cannot remember. My son and I are in business today. Our office is in Orange directly across from the Angel stadium. Since we are business owners we never have to travel to and from the office with traffic. In fact, I so love the fact that I can work from home. I control my schedule! Thinking back to high school I didn't much like authority, only because I was never a very good follower. People ask me all the time what I do and I suppose what I could say is that I help families make and save money. More later! Military I served in the United States Air Force right after graduating from El Rancho in 1969. It was a great experience and I would do it again.
