Judy's Story
2018 update: Still living the good life on 10 acres in Tollhouse, CA with Daniel. We are happy living in the foothills with beautiful trees, views, garden, chickens, dogs, and wildlife. We have deer, foxes, coyotes, hawks, skunks, snakes, etc......and, way too many of them 'love chickens'. !! We've dispatched or caught over 30 skunks in the past two years -- have only lost 1 chicken to predators. Not counting the neighbors dogs who took out half my flock earlier this summer. .
Chris and our three grandchildren live nearby. Ethan will be 21 next March, Morgan will be 18 in September and Case will be 4 in January. Chris married a very sweet girl, Katie, in May 2014. .Daniel's been fully retired from the Laborers Union since 2010. I fully retired in February 2016 but started doing some consulting jobs ...Expand for more
last year that let me work from home on my own schedule.
My Mom who had been living with us since 2010 passed away in December 2014. Dan's parents are still in Eureka. Don will be 89 next February and has recently declined further treatment for a cancer he's been fighting for several years. Joan is taking care of him but is going to discuss getting Hospice Assistance after the holidays. We just visited (end of Nov 2018) and both are doing ok. We plan to go back to visit the end of July as that is the weekend of the Annual Sullivan Reunion Picnic.
Kind of disappointed that the 1969 Class Reunion was changed to the end of September. as that date is not so good for us. Hope to see everyone post pictures and comments after the event. Maybe someone could go live on Facebook on the Reunion Page!!
