Judy's Story

Life After high school I worked several jobs until 1971, when I hired on with CN Rail (Calgary) and stayed until 1984. My job with CN took me to Jasper and Edmonton. When I left CN in 1984, I returned to Calgary with my then partner, Brian Woods (we married in 1986). I attended SAIT with the idea of opening a restaurant but things were not good for that industry in the 80's so I took a Unit clerk course and started working at the Holy Cross Hospital. 988. She has recently graduated from James Fowler and is working for her rugby club (Calgary Irish) and the Calgary zoo while taking upgrading to enter university in the fall of 2007. She is also the co-coach of Fowler's senior volleyball team and will be joining the coaching staff for the upcoming high school rugby season in the spring. Brian and I are avid motorcyclists (passenger only for me), enjoy camping, music festivals, concerts, movies, dining out and, of course, renovating our old moneypit. My parents still live on 44th Street so I am frequently back in the 'hood and would love to 'bump' into some of my old friends.
