Life Having our first child ten months to the day we were married, second child 363 days later, I was a stay at home mom. My husband, Wally, is still with the Chicago Fire Department as the Director of Contract Enforcement for the Union. My daughters have graced us with four grandchildren and one more due in October. My sons, 38 and 27 have managed to stay single. Oldest works at the Mercantile Exchange, the youngest is an executive chef at a restaurant on Clark Street in Chicago.
