Judy's Story
Life
Having our first child ten months to the day we were married, second child 363 days later, I was a stay at home mom. My husband, Wally, is still with the Chicago Fire Department as the Director of Contract Enforcement for the Union. My daughters have graced us with four grandchildren and one more due in October. My sons, 38 and 27 have managed to stay single. Oldest works at the Mercantile Exchange, the youngest is an executive chef at a restaurant on Clark Street in Chicago. to help out in the office at our church, Queen of All Saints Basilica, and I've been there ever since as the parish secretary. I've collected some LV memorabilia from antique stores and e-bay. We were all so lucky to have been part of those wonderful days, from the Cheer Shop to Mother's, to Riverview, the "Y", Waffle Shop, Harvey's, Turnabout dances, prom, picnics, the Century and Belmont movie theaters. I guess that explains my attachment to the movie "Peggy Sue Got Married". A few of us from '58 get together for dinner, (we feel sorry for Jim Malouf so we invite him, too!) Love to hear from you.
