Judy's Story
Life
My husband, Randy, and I moved to Gypsum in 1996 and built our house on the Colorado River. It's an awesome place to live! Each morning our comute to school consists of spotting wildlife such as deer, elk, big horn sheep, mountain lions, bears, bald eagles and even a moose! Our 7 (yes 7) kids have grown up here loving the outdoors, learning how to hunt, fish and ride ATV's. Our oldest daughter has blessed us with three grandchildren. I earned my Master's degree from UNC in 1999, and have been enjoying teaching for the last 13 years. I'm working on brea...Expand for more
king in to the photography business, taking senior pictures, and I'm currently taking a Spanish class. My students get quite a laugh when I try out new phrases every now and then.
Workplace
I've been teaching at Eagle Valley High School for 8 years. I've taught English and am currently teaching Special Education. I've done the yearbook and school newspaper, and this year I'm the Prom "Mom"-- an experience I really don't want to repeat! I love my job and I love my school. Our principal was recently on GMA. I'm looking forward to seeing y'all in August!!
