Life
Since leaving AL Brown I have graduated from Lenoir Rhyne in Nursing, worked at Duke, Lowrance (now Lake Norman Reg. Med), Burlington Industries as plant nurse (no, I did not grow plants)and then did public Health nursing in Ghana for 3 years as missionary. Next I got a Master's in Public Health from UNC-Chapel Hill, got married and ended up in Togo (that is in West Africa)for 17 years of married bliss in the tropics (well, not exactly). Now I am working at Lake Norman in out-patient surgery to make enough money to pay for a total knee replacemen...Expand for more
t before I am 70 years old if Jesus has not returned yet or I get killed on Interstate 77. I play the violin as of late, learning from a Chinese man while in Togo. He became a Christian just before we left Togo.
I have 2 TEENAGERS-girls who see that my husband, Bill, and I never have a dull or boring moment.
OK?? Our mssionary work has allowed us to meet lots of people in Africa and Europe and other places including the USA....Think about some of you from time to time....hope I can celebrate with you all at next reunion even if you did not miss me//
