I can’t believe it has been almost 50 years since we graduated high school! When did that happen? I live in East Northport with my husband, Dick, who also graduated from Huntington. We never knew each other in school but met while teaching together at Finley Jr. High. I taught high school and middle school for over 10 years. I then stayed home when my children were young until I went back to teaching Pre-K for over 12 years. Nothing like trying to keep up with 20 four year olds to help keep you young! The pay was terrible, but I loved it. I retired a few years ago to help take care of my elderly parents. I have two incredible children and one grandchild. Katie has lived in Scotland with her husband and child for over 12 years and now has permanent residency. I love visiting and go over every chance I get. It is like a fairyland complete with rolling hills and castles at every turn. The downside is that is also where my only grandchild is and I am too far away from that little one! I miss her always.
