Judy's Story
Hello Everyone ! It's the middle of the night and since I'm awake I thought I would take some time and catch up with everyone ! I still live in Denver. My brother Johnny and I are still living together. He plays pickleball 5 days a week and goes dancing at least one night a week. He has 2 children, Tami has her PHD in education and has one daughter that has just graduated from Ft. Colins. His son, Ronnie, is married to Kim, a school teacher. Ronnie is a fireman and they have a 2 year old son, Greyson John Taylor. His grandfather is very proud.
I now have all of my family back in Denver, except one granddaughter that is still in Florida. Tori will be graduating from college in December. I hope that she will come back to Denver for at least a while after that. We are all going to West Palm Beach the 1st of December for her graduation. Her parents, my daughter, Heather and son-in-law, Andy are still working on their degrees in order to go to Japan as missionaries. They are really active in their church and are enjoying being grandparents to Asher, nearly 6 and Kenadee 1 1/2. Kenneth stays busy with work and Asher. I would explain to you what he does, but it's too technical for me. He and Asher love to ski. Asher loves all of the leggos (sp) that have motors and moving parts. BUT he has to put them together himself. My granddaughter, Tommi, is a wonderful Mother to Kenadee. They are always doing fun things. Tommi is a manager for a large heating and AC company.
My daughter, Diana, and her husband, Harold, have just moved back from Texas. I am so thrilled to have them back closer. Their daughter, Julia and son Aaron are also back. Their daughter, Taylor moved back several years ago and lives in Greeley. I am so blessed to have them all here.
I still make greeting cards, play cards a couple times a week and some nights, love to go to the show, have lunch with friends and read. My health is not as good as I need it to be in order to do everything I want to do. I like to travel, but don't go as much.
I enjoy seeing pictures of everyone and hearing from old friends. Take care As Always Judy
Merry 2015 Christmas to everyone ! We have so much snow here in Denver that I am spending this day as quiet time ! I hope that everyone had a wonderful Holiday Season and that Santa was good to all !
We had a great time. We all went to my grandson and his wife's home. They have a son that will be 5 on Dec 27th. He had a ball. He got a machinegun that shoots nerf bullets. He and his grandfather had a ball with that. Everything came to a stop until they finally ran out of bullets. My baby great granddaughter, Kenadee, opened a few gifts and then she was over it. he pulls up to everything, and should be walking soon, he was just too fast. I got some great gifts and enjoyed watching the kids open theirs. My granddaughter, Tori, came in from Florida. She is in college there and doesn't like the cold ! Tori has a great job as an accountant.. She travel a lot to visit friends and just have fun. My other granddaughter, Tommi, is Kenadee's Mother. She is a manager for a heating and A/C compan . She is a great Mother She is also an CNA, so Kenadee is in good hands. I wish I could tell you what my grandson does, but it has to do with computers and advertising and something else I don't understand. Katie, his wonderful wife, has her real estate license and a degree in interior design. She flips houses and condos and does very well. She has her own company. Their son, Asher, is great. He takes after both his folks and is 5 and can do anything on his computer . They are a beautiful, sweet couple with a great little boy !
My other 3 grandchildren are ion Texas. Taylor lives up here, but has gone back to spend some time with her parents and brother and sister. Taylor is planning on starting college to be a Dietitian. She works out at the gym everyday and never eats with us because we don't eat as healthy as she does. Proud of her. My youngest grandchild is Arron. He is in the 5th grade and is a gamer. He is really good at games. We are hoping that some day he will make a good living as a gamer....he's that good. My youngest granddaughter is a CNA in Texas. She is so good at her job ! She is so sweet and takes such good care of everyone. We are hoping that she will go on and get her R
My daughter Diana and her husband Harold still live in Texas. Too far away. Diana is still working for the city of Alvord, TX. She is the accountant and the Court clerk for them She is a volunteer for the animal shelter in Bowie. She has several rescue dogs. She has always had a kind heart. Her husband is on WC right now. It has something to do with the muscles in his arm coming loose. Sound really painful.
Heather works for Metro State University. She has worked for Universities and colleges for a while. Her husband drives truck in all this snow. She and Andy are trying to get their Theology degree so that they can go to Japan as missionaries. They stay busy.
I play cards 2x a week and then on several Friday nights. I still do crafts. I made all of my Christmas cards and several Christmas decorative objects. I also decorate t-shirts. I love to read. I read several books a week. We go to the show a lot and I am blessed with a lot of wonderful friends. I hope that all of you that read this are doing well.
