Juli's Story
After high school I went to college, most of the time at SIU Carbondale. I liked the area so much, surrounded by national forests and lakes, that I made it my home eventually.
I earned a degree in social work and spent 20+ years in social services, most of that time as the Director of the Women's Center in Carbondale, regional program and shelter for women and children survivors of violence. I have been married to a great guy for 20+ years, and we have two teenage sons. We live in a 1920 farmhouse near Carbondale with an assortment of animals and lots of room.
My folks retired here in Carbondale. I get back to Bethalto 2 or 3 times a year, but I enjoy visiting back home and would love to run into some of my old friends when I'm there.
