Julia's Story
Personal facts- I became a widow in 2018 and have one son, who is 25. Yikes! Where did that time go? My son is my pride and joy~smart (go figure), respectful, mature, funny, and way too insightful for his age! s of care. Since his death combined with the fact that our son is now a college graduate (and working while taking graduate classes in Structural Engineering at Columbia University), I am forging ahead with a new chapter in my life.
This new chapter includes adjusting to the unexpected death of my husband five years ago. This journey has been one of the most challenging that I have had to navigate to date. For those of you who have lost a spouse, you already know how difficult that can be. For those of you who are still married, be grateful every day, despite the ups and downs of long-term relationships, that you have been blessed.
All the best and I hope you and your families are staying healthy & Covid-free. Let's look forward to the time when we can reconnect face-to face at our next reunion.
