Julia's Story
Well I married my high school sweetheart Charles D. Kopplin. We moved to Austin to attend UT 1972. I graduated UT 1976 with degrees in Education and Fine Arts. Charlie and I divorced and we both remarried. I have a wonderful son, Justin Ward-Faulkner from my second marriage. My third marriage was with a wonderful and brilliant man, William "Bill" Acree. Of The Incarnate Word (San Antonio), with a Masters Degree in Education with Distinction. I was certified to teach all levels in various disciplines. I taught 30 years, with the last 21 in SAISD. I retired in 2006 from teaching. However, my adventure in creativity has only increased. I am a commissioned artist specializing in sculpting, various painting methods which includes murals and I continue to consult in the education field, as well as offering private lessons.
