Julie (Julia) Davis:  

Julia is from Long Beach, California. Her schools include Chelan High School, David Starr Jordan High School. I was born in Downey, Calif. so pretty much was a Calif. girl. I was kinda shy in High School, dropped out of school in my 11th year as I was planning on getting married and was also working full time at (THE FUNKY TACO) in N. Long Beach for those who remember it. I was a manager there when I was 16 1/2. Well ended up not getting married but I continued working full time. It was while I was working at Funky Taco I met and feel in love with my son's father. I had my first child at 18 on Feb.14 1974 what a day I will never forget. Altho my son's father and I never married there will always be a bond we share especially since our son died at the age of 23. It has been a rough road for me dealing with my son's death I still after 16 yrs. struggle to accept it. My son (Mike) took his own life he hung himself in a jail cell (long story) but he had gotten messed up with drugs and his brain was fried from the drugs.Very handsome kid and at one point in life had it all, always straight A student. I miss him so very much:( After I had Mike in 1974 I married a man name Bill who I also met from the Taco place. We were married for 16 1/2 yrs. and had two beautiful daughters Shannon who is now 37 and Kimberly who is 35.They both have four kids each Shannon has 1 girl and 3 boys 2 of which are identical twin boys.
