Life
I am sure everybody knows that i married Wayne Allen We have three boys,five grandchildren and 3 gr. grandchildren. Wayne retired 2 years ago and then went back to work for the same company. I have worked a few times while raising the boys - always designing something (print shops, newspapers, weekly magazine. Now I no longer work but volunteer for Lakeside Nature Center in KCMO. I am a wildlife rehabilitator and, you guessed it, I do all of their brochures, manuals, etc, etc, etc and now I get to do it for free. That is what they call "volunteering" I guess I just...Expand for more
can't get away from it. We have 12 acres east of Lee's Summit, MO and I truly love the solitude and it gives me a good place to raise the raccoons, coyotes,fox, bobcat, squirrels, opossums, etc. that come through me from February to October each year. Guess it is not a very exciting life, but it sure is different and very rewrding when you release the animals back to the wild. During the summer it keeps me off the street, out of the stores, and finding myself coming and going, And if I do go someplace I carry babies, formula and all, just like I did when my boys were babies.
