Hello Lake Orion Classmates: I'm one of the twins, Jan & Julie Evans. I live in Orlando, Florida which is a truly wonderful place to live - it looks a lot like Michigan only with year-round beautiful weather. I have a book coming out November 1, 2008 called Willow Palace and the Papillon Gardens. It is based on a true story (about a house in Lake Orion), but much of it is fictional. It's about 6 teenagers who spend their summer vacation in 1972 fixing up an old abandoned mansion and five formal gardens. Two of the male protagonists are professional waterskiers as well as one of the female characters being a waterski competitor (the characters are based on Julie and Brian Daenzer). My sister, Jan, is married and lives in Stonington, CT. She has a 16-year old son named Tripp. Jan is a physical therapist and owns her own clinic in Westerly, RI.
