Life Julie Abbott Bio: My family left Hawaii, moving to Cottonwood Arizona in 1980. I was 14, and devistated! I spent my sophomore and junior year of high school at Mingus Union H.S., then moved to Tempe, AZ for my Senior year at McClintock H.S. After graduation, I moved to Seattle, WA where I attended the Art Institute of Seattle and graduated with an AA degree in Visual Communications. My first real job was with Delta Airlines as a Flight Attendant. Although I loved the job, I realized that I wanted to be an artist, I returned to Seattle and took a job with a sportswear company where I worked as a technical artist for five years. One of my passions was fitness, and I had been a Group fitness instructor since 1984, and progressed my career to include personal training in 1992. I took a chance and made a career change and became Group Fitness Director for the PRO Sports Club in Bellevue, WA in 1994. I competed in regional and national fitness competitions for 3 years, working with professional choreographers, dance instructors, and gymnastic coaches. I studied jazz, hip-hop, and learned training and nutrition techniques that brought me success in my desire to be a top fitness competitor. As a performer with a love for the stage, I became an NFL Cheerleader for the Seattle Seahawks in 1998 and danced as a Seagal for three years.
