Julie's Story

Went to SAC for a year, then took a legal secretarial course, got a job as a legal secretary; then I got married, adopted 2 children, happily married for 16 years. My husband died at the age of 53. I was a single mom for 10 years. Struggled through their teenage years. We all survived. In 1991, re-connected with an old friend, rekindled friendship, then fell hopelessly in love. but now am the sole owner, employee, designer, etc. of Jubilations byJulie. I make craft items, such as name trains, picture frames, gift bags and the like. I am one of the principal caregivers for my 95 year old mother, Ermine Armstrong, who worked with the Jefferson Band for 17 years. The persons from my past who I'd most like to see again are Paulette Owen and NOrma JeanPhelps, because they were my closest buddies in middle school.
