Julie's Story

Life Hi there. Have two children, Maya who is my oldest, and Kevin who is currently in the army in Iraq. Please keep him in your prayers. Maya has 4 children and Kevin has 2. Yep, I'm a grandma of 6 now. That is unless they have any surprises for grandma. Got happily divorced in the late 80's, took my name back, raised my kids and lived an average life. In the 90's, went back to school for an A.S. in Electronics/Computers. Currently working as a low level nobody (just as i like it) for the gov. Started a small business which shall remain somewhat secret unless and until it takes off. Life keeps me running. Otherwise nothing much new, except the extra weight and grey hairs. Can you believe how old we are now? But then it beats the alternative. Opted not to pay the extra on this site when I have several email addys already, so unfortunately they won't pass along any messages from anyone. I tend to be a little frugal, been a mom too long i guess. lol. Hope this finds all well and happy. Look forward to seeing you all at the next reunion, whenever that is. om my little crew here. Take care, Julie FLASH: BIG UPDATE My dear son Kevin just got leave from Iraq and showed up at the door to his house. It was so wonderful! His wife and two sons are over the moon, needless to say. Kev and his wife Nina called me to tell me the news. I can breathe again! And after a few days at home, Kev is coming to visit with his old mom. He was living and working in SLC, so is quite a trip to Fresno, CA, but he is going to come stay with me a few days before his leave is up. Can't wait!!! Please continue to pray for him though, and thanks for all your wonderful prayers. He will have to leave again soon enough so will still stand in great need of them. Thanks everyone, and God bless all. Julie Claunch Well, Kevin's leave is almost over. It will be hard to see him go back there but, God willing, all shall be well until he can return for good. Hopefully he will not be called up for the next one. His wife and sons, and his old mom, need for him to be here and to be safe. We would all appreciate your continued prayers for his safety. God bless. Julie
