Julie's Story
Hello everyone!
Of course I married my High School Sweetheart(Loren Becker) We will be celebrating our 29th ann.10-13-08
We have 3 daughters and 2 son-in-laws.
Nichole 27 Melissa 26 Angela-24, the oldest two are married.
Nichole having the only human kids,
Clayton John 3 and William Loren 8 months. WHAT A BLAST THEY ARE!!!! I love being a grandma but Loren's a papa. Missy has the four legged kind with 3 of those.
angie is single and loving it so far.
We bought an acreage North of Shellsburg Ia. If you want to call it an acreage (23). We've planted over 6,000 different trees and Loren loves to hunt fish and spend time with our family. We have the girls involded in shooting fireworks as a hobby, What a blast!!!
I started out being a stay at home mom, to self employed, to business owner and now the last 8 years working in the Life Enrichment Activities for the elderly. I LOVE IT.... they have so much to share, and I don't have to wipe anyone rear...Expand for more

Loren started out at Iowa State for a short time then on to draftsman at Universal Engineering,was laid off,then to a lumber yard for a year to get us by, then on to Cargil beans, with a lay off there and was called to Penford Products in the factory and now works for the company being a Senior Production Manager. He helped start up there Pengloss Dept. (which makes your magazines all shiny.) The most recent was starting up the ethanol part of the plant then one month later flooded the whole plant...so it's been a long haul the last two years of him working constantly. Would love to hear from anyone. Both of us are still a little fat and sassy, of course Loren much thinner than I, but fewer hairs on top, me just a bowl full of jelly....
Childhood memory.....
Always playing baseball at Hayes School with all the boys in the neighborhood. Not to many girls my age then.Burnside Novak, Zobac and the Troskys'
