ssionate and spirited. I'm also impatient and stubborn, though I am always trying to find more ease with my patience and flexibility.
I'm passionate about living a life that is full, and the variety of interests I have reflect that goal. I love all things equine (esp. horseback riding), tea, chocolate (the darker, the better), red velvet, reading, writing, playing word and puzzle games, baking and cooking, almost all things musical (esp. playing my trombone and English handbells), massage and holistic health practices, creative child-rearing, progressive politics balanced with some traditional values, naps, guilty TV shows, good stories, great quotes, putting my toes in the sand, and moving my body in more fun ways by walking, swimming, doing yoga and practicing Tai Chi.
My life has been shaped by all of my experiences, the most significant of which came to us in a tiny, 2-lb., 1/2-oz. miracle named Declan. He has forever changed my view of the world and our place in it, and reminds me, on a daily basis, the importance of celebrating every little milestone.".
