Life
My life is literally starting over at 50! The girls are off on their own and, after 31 years of marriage, I am now single. I just moved into my new home in Sherwood, OR along with 3 of my cats.
NEW NEWS: I became a grandma on August 30, 2007! My oldest daughter, Kaleena, presented me with Lauranne Renee - the sweetest baby in the world! Now I know why my mom loved being a grandma so much - I love being Grammy!
I spent the month of September 2006 in Australia where I finally met my penpal that I've been writing to for 40 years! While there I also attended a week of Jack and Jillaroo School on a working ranch. We spent most of each day on horses, mustered cattle and sheep, wrestled calves, sheared sheep, etc. I even won the lasso contest - and all the other attendees were young enough to be my kids! ore than I ever thought I could.
As far as work goes, I'm hoping to make some money with my photography and to get into travel writing. I'm also an independent vendor with Ecoquest International.
Spare time finds me taking pictures, scrapbooking, reading, spending time with friends and (hopefully) more travel!

Update: Nov. 2007 brought an amazing 3 weeks travelling in New Zealand and 2 more weeks in Australia where I was in a cyclone! Travelling with me is NEVER boring!
In Dec. 2008 I met a wonderful man named Jon. Unfortunately, he had to move back to Austin, TX a week after we met, but we've been having a long distance relationship. I've been to see him once, and hope to go again soon. This is looking pretty darn serious, folks!!
