Julie's Story
Moved to CA in '68. Met & married an Air Force guy and just celebrated our 41st anniversary. Have 1 son and 4 granddaughters. Besides IN, have lived in Maine, Guam, Arizona, No Carolina, CA again, Texas. And now we've been in TX longer than IN. The AF guy is also from IN. Finally finished college in '97 with a business degree. Moved to Lubbock from Abilene to follow the son so we could be hands-on grandparents and love every minute of it EXCEPT when it snows here. ed for City of Abilene for 8 years in the city health dept. Volunteered lots while an AF dependent and that gave me lots of experience to get the jobs I've held. The college degree only proved to myself that I could do it! I used to love bowling and was on 3 leagues for a few years. Then my elbow gave out and that was the end of that. Now I walk for my exercise. Still love to read-favorite author is Karen Kingsbury!! Love to watch NHRA drag racing, especially Eric Enders-Stevens, Lady Raider basketball, and Bronco & Patriot football. And love to listen to contemporary Christian music and study the Bible!!
