Julie's Story
Hello to all that are curious about what I've been up to. I moved to Santa Rosa to attend the Junior College right after High School. I graduated from the X-Ray tech program and promptly moved to Eureka and worked in the Hospital there for 9 years. I decided to continue my education and further my career as an Ultrasound technologist. I moved to San Diego and completed the program at UCSD. I loved working in an academic atmosphere and learned a lot there. I must say, I did miss Northern California and moved back to Santa Rosa in 1990. m and we have made a nice life for ourselves. We don't have any children - but do have a bird and a dog who are properly spoiled. My Mother still lives in Fort Bragg and I go to visit regularly. Janet and I laugh and talk several times a week. She lives in Eureka. I enjoy sewing machine and have made several quilts over the years. I play the piano - not as much as I used to and I've always got a good book on the night stand to read. Hopefully, we'll be able to retire comfortably. I went somewhere the other day and got a "Senior" discount. I just about fainted. Where did the time go??????
