Life
Bachelors from St. Cloud State. Moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico. Masters from Winona. Married in 1999 to a Golf Pro. I do NOT golf.
Babies in 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006.
Lived in Blaine for 9 years and moved to Cottage Grove in Sept. 2006
Teach high school Spanish at Woodbury Senior High (1998-current) with Mary Lou Huff. I teach driver's ed. too!
Taught at Park and Oltman (1995-98) and coached volleyball
My family enjoys boating, snowmobiling and racing. (NASCAR too.)

My biggest crush? Probably Darren Edlund. I did like that boy...
Inspiring teachers? Senorita Huff. As a tenth grader in her class, I decided that I wanted to be a Spanish teacher and have as much fun as she did at work. I am a Spanish teacher and I work with her! Life is amazing. Nancy Martinsen was also one of my favorites. She told me once that she had prayed for me after a surgery I had and I have never forgotten how powerful that was.

rs. Stoppelman's English class - Jimmy Nevin had taken my pencil and had put it on his chair. I reached over to grab it and Jim sat on my hand. He started yelling "Julie is trying to grab my butt" and Mrs. Stoppelman went nuts. I couldn't move my hand. I got in trouble. Thanks Jim. Having to do "on-the-range" driving practice with Eric Gorres was quite humorous as well. I think I wet myself from laughing so hard. (Well, not really, but we did laugh so hard that I cried and I couldn't see.)
And then there were the parties...One in particular that I (sort of)remember was being at Bill's (Billy's) and I ended up making out with a boy with chew in his mouth. (You'd NEVER guess who and I won't say his name to protect both of us!) The party was busted and Dave Toensing helped me to a car and I peed on the tires. Then I was brought to Arnt's house I think and I had to hang my head in the toilet. Oh how shameful! The boys (Dave, Chad Halloway and ? took care of me and returned me home safely the next day.) OOPS!
