One of Julie's favorite quotes is:"If you know someone who has lost a child, and you're afraid to mention them because you think you might make them sad by reminding them that they died--you're not reminding them. They didn't forget they died. What you're reminding them of is that you remembered that they lived, and that is a great gift. ~ Elizabeth Edward
"You don't get over it, you just get through it. You don't get by it, because you can't get around it. It doesn't 'get better'; it just gets different. Everyday... Grief puts on a new face...." -Wendy Feireisen
"Losing a child places a mother on a road that begins a lonelier journey than ever expected—one that can never really be explained. There was a beginning, but with the death of the child, there is no middle and no end." ~ Silent Grief
When God calls little children to dwell with Him above
We mortals sometime question the wisdom of His love.
For no heartache compares with, the death of one small child
Who does so much to make our world, seem wonderful and mild.
Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to his fold.
...So He picks a rosebud before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them, and so He takes but few
To make the land of Heaven more beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult, still somehow we must try.
The saddest word mankind knows will always be "Goodbye"
So when a little child departs, we who are left behind,
Must realize God loves children
"Angels are hard to find".
A Person is still a person no matter how small~ Dr. Seuss
Some people only dream of Angels, I held one my arms.
Zoe:"I bet she likes her little wings she has now, and her horn."
Me:"What kind of horn?"
Zoe:"The kind that Angels have to play music. Jesus came and got her." ~Zoe's comments right after my mom died. feb 2008

Shoot for the moon & even if you miss, at least you'll be among the stars.
"You're the best mom ever!" ~Zoe
The mention of my child's name may bring tears to my eyes, but it never fails to bring music to my ears. If you are really my friend, let me hear the beautiful music of her name. It soothes my broken heart and sings to my soul!
Calgon, take me away!!
“May today be peace within.
May you trust your highest power that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing you are a child of God.
...Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise, and love.
It is there for each and every one of you.”
~ Mother Theresa".
More about Julie:"Some people dream of Angels. I've held one in my arms.
i was born in Texas and spent most of my life there until after high school then i moved around a bit. i have lived in cali, fla, vegas, and utah with a month and a half in Ireland. i love change and love to see different cultures and places. i am the youngest of 8 children and was adopted at birth to wonderful parents. they have both passed away and i miss them every day. i have an almost 11 year old daughter named Zoe and she is the light of my life and greatest blessing! i also have an angel baby Gracelyn Ciana born and passed april 3, 2007. she had a chromosome defect called trisomy 18 and also spina bifida. through her brief life i have realized that i can reach out and support others who have lost a child and be an advocate for those babies that drs say are 'incompatable with life' but yet through miracles beat the odds. i have a compassionate heart and always try to see the good in everyone. that leads to disappointment occasionally though. i love diversity and am extremely open-minded. i love that i have been able to keep in touch with old friends from school. i believe people come into our lives for a reason even if only for a brief time. i have experienced a lot in my life and have learned from those experiences whether they were wonderful or hellish and i have learned to appreciate what i have gone through. im a pretty genuine person and am happy with who i am although i do have my low moments. if you want to know anything else just ask. =)".
