Life Well, alot has happened since I graduated Highschool but isn't that called life? Tom and I were married for almost two years and then we went our seperate ways. I found out that I was pregnant and began my life as a single mom raising a beautiful daughter. I eventually married again to a man with four small children. Where their mother went to? Well to another man! She had no maternal instincts to speak of and no heart as well! Anyway, to make a long story short, that didn't work out either because I wasn't supposed to be with him. Those of you who know me, how have you been? I've worn many hats in the careers that I chose in my journey. First, stay-at-home mom. Then college student at Portland Community College studying Computer Information Systems and Computer Science and Applications. Next, Volunteer Coordinator through AmeriCorps at SE Works Neighborhood Jobs Center in SE Portland. I successfully created a Volunteer Program for SE Works so that Job Seekers could have an opportunity to gain various skills that they could use in their next job. Skills like reception, filing, data entry, projects outside at various job fairs and fundraising events. Event planning is a really great skill that most businesses count on to bring in clientel.
