Julie's Story
I've worked for the Arm (as a civilian) almost since the time of graduation. I've been married twice, divorced twice, and been at the altar a time or two, but just couldn't do it again!! I have two daughters and five grandchildren-all are grown except the last grand-daughter, who is 9, and a blast!
During my years with the Army I've been lucky enough to have lived and worked in Europe and Asia, and have traveled...Expand for more
all over the U.S. and the world while working. I've made friends all over the world too.
In early 2008 I retired from federal service and was living the good life, doing great retiree stuff, when the Army decided I needed to return to work for a special project; well, I signed up again for this special project that was going to take one year, and here I am 18 months later still working! I'm ready to re-retire!
