Life
Hi, fellow classmates of '71. You may know me as JULIE SAVU. I was adopted at birth. At at 14, I lost my dad, and at age 23 I lost my mom. Thirty years ago, I changed my name back to my birth name in the hope of eventually finding my birth mom which I did 10 years ago. I grew up in Denver and would have gone to George Washington if my family would not have moved to Aurora my 8th grade year. I then attended a different high school every year, that is why my list is so long! While I may not have been one of the most memorable kids in school, I do fondly remember many that I went to school with and hope that I can reconnect with some. I live outside of Dallas, TX currently and am a Nurse Practitioner and a forensic nurse (...Expand for more
like a CSI kind of). I had 2 boys, Damen, age 32 and Brian passed away 12 years ago at age 20. Both of the boys have a child so I am the very proud grandmother of Taylor age 15 and Aspen, age 15 (they are 7 weeks apart) It's much more fun being a grandma than a mom, let me tell you! I am divorced. My ex brought me to Texas (dang him!) although I've learned to love it (except the Cowboys). I miss Colorado so much, as I still have family and FRIENDS there. The past 30 years have been very rocky, but there is always those lessons we must learn. Life now is very good. I have been in contact with several of our classmates (3 of them live close to me!)
