Julie's Story
After graduation I moved to Los Angeles where I worked for an attorney and also for Vons. When my son was ready to start school, I knew Los Angeles wasn't the place so we packed up and headed south to San Diego.
I have three children who are the light of my life.
My son is a Marine and I am so proud of him. He left for his first deployment in August 2008 to Iraq,came home safely March 27, 2009, and is now training for his second deployment early 2010. I keep praying that it isn't to Afghanistan but instead on a ship somewhere far from there.
My daughters are two of the most amazing young ladies around. They both in their own ways are blazing the trail of success and will certainly be successful ...Expand for more
throughout their lives. They certainly make me laugh and bring much joy to my life.
I work two jobs - The Hartford Insurance Group and my own legal company, Alternative Sentencing Resources, writing private probation reports for those who find themselves on the opposite side of the law. I work in both the federal and state courts and have worked on several death penalty cases as well. I handle cases in California as well as other states. My first job is just that -my job, the second is my passion.
My life, probably like many others, has not been easy but I wouldn't trade any of it for I have loved deeply, learned much and grown from all of it. I can't wait to see what the next 49 years brings!
