Julie's Story
Life
Since 1984 I have been through alot of highs and lows! I chose partying as my major at Chapel Hill and I messed up that opportunity big time-my biggest regret! Then I went to UNCG and graduated with a major in Interior Design/Architecture. I sold furniture in High Point for a few years and then married my husband of 13 years Alan Price. In 1994 we had our first son Jake and my life changed dramatically for the better! I have had the privalege of being a stay at home mother for the past 10 years and welcomed my daughter Abby now 7 and Noah now 4 into our lives. Marriage and family are challenging but so rewarding! I have a more personal relationship with God and know how blessed I have been throughout my life even when I took it for granted. hat experience. We all have Gods love we just have to accept it and I am so grateful that I lived through my partying days to find it!! Now that my youngest is starting kindergarten I am looking forward to persuing my interests-Habitat for Humanity- I helped one Saturday in June and it has really effected me and what is important. I also work part-time for Nancy Hamilton in real estate and I will continue to volunteer for cancer fund raisers-Jamie and I ran in the Race for the Cure in Winston Salem two years ago and now I want to run in a leukemia fund raiser-calling all sponsors!!! Yes I have had many lows but been able to really experience joy in my life through my acceptance of God's love and Jesus as my savior.
