Julie's Story

Life Hi all - My husband and I have been very happily married for 21 years now, and between us we have 3 children (1 boy, 2 girls) ages 29, 28, and 23, as well as 4.5 grandchildren. We own a home on 2.5 acres in Elko, Nevada, where we relocated in 2011 in order to be in closer proximity to my parents. Sadly, we lost my Mom in August of 2013, but my Daddy is still going strong, and is a constant source of entertainment for us. I worked as a paralegal in Carson City(in criminal defense) for several years, then at the high school our children attend in Silver Springs, Nevada. I am now the Judicial Administrator for a District Judge in Elko, Nevada. I did go to college, and am Nationally certified as a paralegal, have a substitute teaching license, served as an instructor for Western Nevada College (Driver's Education), and was also the head cheerleading coach at our high school (GO NIGHTHAWKS!). cking company here in Elko, and also worked as an instructor for Great Basin College, as well as Western Nevada College. I did stray to Northern California for about a year, where I met and married the love of my life, but otherwise I have stayed in the Carson Valley, Carson City, and Elko, Nevada, area. My favorite thing to do when I am not at work is to spend time with my husband, 3 doxies, and my family. I also enjoy drag racing or "showing" my classic car - My husband and I each have our own classic cars and racing is just oodles of fun!! I also thoroughly enjoy camping and quadding. Our children are all remarkable human beings now building beautiful families of their own. They were always very athletic, and all are extremely intelligent. Our son graduated from college in Phoenix, our oldest daughter served in the United States Air Force, and our youngest daughter served in the United States Navy. Best Always, Julie Thuemler (Shipton)
