Julie's Story
Life
I married my "high school sweetheart" in 1998 after graduating from University of St. Francis in Joliet. We had our first son in March 2001, our second son in November 2002, and our third son in July 2004. We have lived in Northwest Indiana since December 2001. The kids and I keep busy with local MOMS Club and Parents as Teachers activities. We joined an amazing parish last year and now co-chair the marriage ministry and I've become very active with their M.O.M.S. group as well.
College

Workplace
After college I spent a couple of years in Human Resources, started my Mary Kay business, and spent two years working in College Admissions at my alma mater. After my first son was born I chose to stay home to raise him. He has since been joined by two brothers and I am now busy with our involvement in the local MOMS Club, Parents as Teachers, and my various home improvement projects. I am also working as a (volunteer) Project Coordinator to bring a children's museum to Northwest Indiana. I am knee-deep in non-profit start-up, budgeting and museum research. The 1023 is filed with the IRS and we're waiting for our 501c3. I've taken on a part-time position at church as well doing secretarial work for our priest and website updates.
