Julie's Story
Hey All! Well, I got married, went to Phoenix College, had a beautiful baby girl and got divorced. That was the first 5 years after high school. Kept going back to college but never got a degree. Kept working as a secretary for the State of AZ where I met a great man and eventually married him in 1984. We're still together...he makes me laugh. Together we have 3 kids and now 7 grandkids. Being a nana (I didn't want to be called grandma) is really fun. I spent 6 years at the State in various jobs then bounced around a couple places and then spent 15 years at FedEx. I ended up as a manager for FedEx the last 10 years there. Had a blast but had to "retire" because of medical reasons. ...Expand for more
Since then my hubby (also retired...twice) and I have just been taking life easy and pursue our interests. Most importantly we spend time with each other. My parents came to live with us and unfortunately, we lost my dad last June, This last year I've had back surgery, knee surgery and foot surgery. Working at FedEx took it's toll on my body. I'm sure alot of you have started having problems with your body not working like it used to. I have the names of several great orthorpaedic surgeons if you need them. Two years ago we moved to Prescott Valley. Found a great deal on a house that worked well with my parents living with us. That's it for me. Hope to hear from some of you. Julie
